Addendum to article: Brian D. Hill (formerly USWGO Alt. News) writes sentencing letter for J6 defendant Owen Shroyer of Infowars, asks for a reprieve for him at the sentencing hearing, filed with defense attorney Norm Pattis and U.S. Government – Justice for Brian D. Hill of USWGO Alternative News

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia has not yet made a decision on the sentencing letter for Jonathan Owen Shroyer of Infowars.com. The judge has already entered on the record (on Sunday, September 17, 2023), the written judgment for Owen Shroyer but not filed the statement of reasons yet. The sentencing letter has not been reportedly returned to Mr. Hill, so that is a good sign. The sentencing letter was typed up and was mailed by Brian D. Hill, the former news reporter and founder of USWGO Alternative News. It was mailed on Saturday, September 9, 2023, by Express Mail to get there a day before the sentencing hearing. Brian said under affidavit/under oath that Owen had behaved “professionally” and had been a “good person” and had asked the Court for a reprieve for Owen. Leave it to a former journalist to defend a journalist today.

Phone call came around September 18, 2023 to the chamber clerk for the Hon. Timothy James Kelly, and a voicemail was left by Brian D. Hill. Brian is again conducting an inquiry by asking if the sentencing letter was reviewed after it was received at the mail room on September 11th. Brian stated on the record that the Court’s mail room had received the letter on September 11, 2023, by Express Mail, and was signed for by “A. Jones” according to delivery confirmation report from USPS. Brian stated that he had his mother email the counsel of record on September 9, 2023, including Norman Pattis who is defense counsel for Owen Shroyer. Email regarding U.S. Attorney receiving the sentencing letter has not yet been received from Brian’s family to upload to the blog.

This is the second time that Brian had left a voicemail with the judge’s chamber’s office to inquire on receipt of the sentencing letter marked as an “emergency mailing” in the envelope.

Here is the recording and links to be able to download and access the recording.
